Seal-it 216 - silicone sealant - Sanitary grey - 310ml

Seal-it® 216 SILICON-SA is a high-quality, neutral curing sealant, especially suitable for mould-resistant joint sealing, based on silicone technology, which cures through humidity into a durable, permanently elastic rubber.

Applications

• Especially suitable for mould-resistant joint sealing between elements in sanitary areas and wet cells, such as between / along washbasins and shower trays / walls, baths, tiles, panels, toilets, worktops, steam cabins, cooling and freezing furniture and more.
• In bathrooms, toilets, kitchens, showers, laundry rooms, saunas, slaughterhouses, cooling and freezing rooms.
• Sealing connection and expansion joints between concrete, stone, masonry, plastic, PC, PVC, PMMA, metal, stainless steel, wood, coated and anodised aluminium, composite and glass in facade, wall, partition, floor, ceiling and roof constructions.
• Top and heel sealing in glazing systems, according to NEN 3576 / NPR 3577.
• Durably elastically seal frames, facades, windows, panels, sheet materials, profiles, mouldings, prefabricated elements and other facade and building elements.
• Repair kit for glazing, facade, sanitary and other joints, based on silicone.

Properties

• Durable permanent elastic, maximum movement capacity 25%.
• Excellent processing, smooth spraying, lots of body, slow skin formation.
• Adheres superbly, without primer, to most porous and non-porous surfaces.
• Neutral, low-odour, MEKO, acid and shrink-free curing, CE certified Silicone System.
• Mold resistant, in accordance with ISO 846.
• Non-corrosive to metals.
• Meets the requirements for burglar-resistant glass, in accordance with the Police Quality Mark for safe living.
• Contains no solvents and/or organic plasticizers.
• Very low emission, certified according to VOC emission class A+
• Good resistance to colour, UV, weather, water, moisture, cleaning agents and ageing.
• Tolerant in direct contact with food, the PVB film of laminated glass and the edge seal of insulating glass.
